“It was a leisurely trip out to Budapest with Zoltan in a comfortable Mercedes Benz 9-seater. As a Hungarian, he shared interesting local insights that gave us a better understanding of the city and culture. However, also typically Hungarian, his driving style felt very aggressive at times. The itinerary also included a lot of free time, perhaps a little too much - especially since both the Citadella and Ruszwurm (listed stops) were temporarily closed until further notice. Lunch time was about 1pm but there is a stop at a petrol station and McDonald’s for “breakfast” at 9am.”

He handed us over to Nina who gave us a tour of the castle and the old town. Her timing was incredible, as we were able to see the changing of the guard and the astronomical clock tower on the hour. Then we had some free time to explore.”
