The tour at the Salt Mines was interesting, though we got trapped in the elevator for some time at the end of the guided tour :p For the "Original Sound of Music Tour", the tour guide was funny and informative, telling us stories about the making of the movie, leading us to sing the songs of the movie, etc. If you are a fan of the movie, you'll definitely love this tour. If you are not so familiar with the movie, better watch it again before joining the tour :p”

“Great day. Two different tours so you swap coaches and guides back in Salzburg. Guides very informative. Salt mine tour was fast paced and kept moving on. Would have maybe liked to be able to read the panels but We were a large group of 40 so mine guide had to keep us moving, but there was recorded info in all caverns. Our Teenage children particularly enjoyed the train ride and wooden slides. Great views of the Bavarian hills there and back. Sound of Music tour was fun. Connor (originally from Cork) was really knowledgeable about the film and all the locations visited - great atmosphere and singing on the…”

“It was not sound of music tour at all. Not even sightseeing, rarely get off the bus. Majority pass by only with guide talking. Whenever passing by the point, guide was saying that you have to visit there on your own??? Couldn’t take pictures because the bus was going too fast. Meal was included but guide did not mention that there was time slot. Time was only given less than an hour and the restaurant was 20min. Away from the dropping point. We were lucky to notice the time slot and barely made on time. Meal supposed to be schnitzel, but it was weird turkey not even fried. I usually…”
