“The staff and the driver are marvelous. We booked this day trip from Vienna to Budapest. The place was amazing, magical and we were actually planning on coming back to Budapest to explore the city more. Eva and Flo (the driver) were so good of the service the provided. The amoint of money we paid is all worth it.”

Review of the Budapest day trip from Vienna, with castle views, free time, small-group transport, guide quality, costs, and practical tips.

“It was a leisurely trip out to Budapest with Zoltan in a comfortable Mercedes Benz 9-seater. As a Hungarian, he shared interesting local insights that gave us a better understanding of the city and culture. However, also typically Hungarian, his driving style felt very aggressive at times. The itinerary also included a lot of free time, perhaps a little too much - especially since both the Citadella and Ruszwurm (listed stops) were temporarily closed until further notice. Lunch time was about 1pm but there is a stop at a petrol station and McDonald’s for “breakfast” at 9am.”

“A rainy day but Viliam was excellent! Very kind and friendly. The weather was clearly a challenge but Viliam made flexible suggestions that allowed us to make the most of the visit to the two cities. With a small group it felt like a personal tour with a great balance of information and time to explore.”

“This was THE BEST DAY TRIP I've ever done with a guide. Worth every single euro. Our guide Balazs was absolutely amazing. He was kind, smart, thoughtful and professional. He took us to all the best spots. We had free time and I felt completely safe and informed on where to go and when to be back for departure. I'm a single woman and felt completely taken care of. Budapest is breathtaking. Don't miss this opportunity!!!”

“My Driver, Ivan was awesome. Very nice and kind. Picked me up at 8AM sharp. We got a bit of traffic on our way to Budapest, but he made time fly by with conversation. We got to Budapest and I met my tour guide, who did not reveal her name. She was kind too, but very ironic on the way she spoke (specially about politics). I expected the walking tour to last more, 2 hours is not nearly enough time”

“A long day, but definitely worth it. Our driver Mark was right on time (with water and snacks in the van) and got us to Bratislava where we met our guide for the city, Jarka. She was very good, her English was excellent, and really knew her history of the city. You could tell she was very proud of its heritage. Didn't know what to expect here but there was a lot to see in 2 hours and over a fairly small area. She had some funny stories and did a good job bringing history to light. Then it was on to Budapest where we met with Zsuzsi who spent…”
