“Our Tour Guide Tommy was informative, with a dry sense of humor. The only drawback is that some of the passengers were Spanish-speaking so Tommy had to repeat what he just said in English in Spanish, so it was a bit disruptive. The village of Durnstein was quaint. The boat ride on the Danube was wonderful, since the weather was nice. Melk was worth the whole trip; we did not tour the optional Abby so we could have more time to spend wandering through the picturesque village. We found a great place to eat (there are several) and a pottery shop with great items at very reasonable prices.”

“It was a lovely evening - the food was good - but the buffet was poorly set up - it would have been nice if the same dishes had been on both sides. The information that the dishes would be replenished might have encouraged some people not to put mountains on their plates. But overall it was a really lovely evening.”
