“Our Tour Guide Tommy was informative, with a dry sense of humor. The only drawback is that some of the passengers were Spanish-speaking so Tommy had to repeat what he just said in English in Spanish, so it was a bit disruptive. The village of Durnstein was quaint. The boat ride on the Danube was wonderful, since the weather was nice. Melk was worth the whole trip; we did not tour the optional Abby so we could have more time to spend wandering through the picturesque village. We found a great place to eat (there are several) and a pottery shop with great items at very reasonable prices.”

“It was a leisurely trip out to Budapest with Zoltan in a comfortable Mercedes Benz 9-seater. As a Hungarian, he shared interesting local insights that gave us a better understanding of the city and culture. However, also typically Hungarian, his driving style felt very aggressive at times. The itinerary also included a lot of free time, perhaps a little too much - especially since both the Citadella and Ruszwurm (listed stops) were temporarily closed until further notice. Lunch time was about 1pm but there is a stop at a petrol station and McDonald’s for “breakfast” at 9am.”
